Once again more from Ross Snyder Jr 
come a batch of characters from his comicverse HEROES & VILLAINS OF MISKATONIC CITY. First we saw Ace now its villain time this time with the Mistress of Id and two of her Id Beasts. Here's Ross's input on them:
"Professor of Psychology, Dr. Aria Stone, was always fascinated by Freud's model of the human psyche. The Id, part of the mind that governs man's baser instincts like desire & aggression, always held a particular interest. Believing that modern society tried to surpress the Id too much, and by doing so cause more harm to one's self then letting it roam unabated. Her experiments began simple enough, for purely noble reasons, with hypnosis and regression therapy. While there were promising results, she was impatient, wanting to accelerate the process of bringing out the Id. Her research slowly took her down a darker and darker path, using more and more unethical treatments. Experimental drugs, shock therapy, and even brain modification yielded closer to her vision of letting out the beast. It wasn't till experimenting with various harmonic frequency did her research bear fruit. Using a machine she called the Id device, she transformed one of her patients both mentally and physically. She calls these creatures Id beasts, creatures of rage and desire. She refines her technology and experiments in secret, till one day she is discovered by a fellow professor. Before he can go to the dean or the cops, she decides to test out her new portable version of the Id device. Appearing at the professor's big annual dinner party, she uses it on his guests and watches as they tear him and each other apart and worse....
Id Beast: Everyone person's Id beast form is unique to them but all share certain traits. They all have enhanced strength (from 30 to 75 tons depending on how in shape the person is), enhanced reflexes (3 times that of peak human) and limited invunerablity (bullet proof). Because this is Miskatonic City, often these creatures will manifest tentacles or multiple mouths or just be a writhing mass of flesh. So just think The incredible Hulk if he was written and drawn by Lovecraft."
