The man shadowed the woman from a conservative distance, slipping quietly into the night's long shadows. He was practiced at stealth, long ago death had been his business. Growing up in the south he'd been an avid hunter, skills that had been further refined in the marines recon unit. That was when the man had become a hunter of men instead of beasts. Sniper training had made him coldly efficient and infinitely patient. And so the man stalked the woman, who walked down lonely city avenues late this evening. Im always trying to figure out new ways to use my abilities and I recently came up with a pretty sweet new application. Given everything thats happened in the past couple of years I feel the need to organize my thoughts and feelings and yet I don’t dare commit anything to a diary that can potentially be found and accessed by anyone but myself. To avoid this I've discovered that I can manifest a tablet from my own mass and transcribe my thoughts onto it in written form. Afterwords I can reabsorb or retrieve it as needed.
